What to Expect

When you are accepted into the GreatStart Mentorship Program and assigned a mentor you will begin the process to prepare for investment. We have resources to help with your PPT presentation, business plans, workshops and more. 

Your mentor will work with you providing advice, introductions and suggestions to get you on your way to funding. Use your mentor as a coach, someone you can count on to meet with you to refine your presentation, plan and strategy.
When your mentor determines you are ready we will organize a panel presentation again to review your model, plan and presentation itself. Your panels will be made up of 3-6 people to include investors, lawyers, industry experts, marketing and channels in order to review your market, channels, IP assumptions, technology and numbers.

Most panels occur on the fourth Wednesday of each month, others may be scheduled at other times however.

Disclosure and Confidentiality

Remember this process is about your business, not your technology. None of the staff or mentors will be signing Non Disclosure Agreements, we want you to know this up front. If it is a problem it is best you do not apply to the program.
